Laura Amaya

Architect from the University of America in Bogotá. He made short photography studies, one with the photographer Viviana Peretti, a workshop from which he extracted his second self-managed book entitled “Urban Synergies; Bogotá ”, and a second study at the University of Seville in Spain from which he extracted photographic series such as“ Encuentros ”,“ Piedra ”,“ Día a día ”,” Adentro ”and a third with the architect and architecture photographer Jesús Granada with who extracted the series "Element".
He has managed 2 exhibitions of his works and collections, one in the framework of ARTBO 2019, San Felipe and a second in the closing and delivery of a residential remodeling in Bogotá. He also has his works open to the public via the internet for private interior decoration uses.

As an Independent, he has worked in the field of architectural photography since 2017 in projects such as the Element building (Bogotá), The Colombian Olympic Committee (Bogotá), also in the photographic project "Architecture on rails" a doctoral research, on the obsolescence of those abandoned ironworks.
On the other hand, some of his photographs have been chosen by Canal Capital as iconic photographs of the city of Bogotá.
In his career, he has won prizes for photographic works such as that of the Housing Institute of the University of Chile (Photographic Essay) as well as the Biennial of Architecture and Public Space (Photographic Series) organized in Santander, Spain. Currently Working at Zero | Four Study in research topics on photography, architecture and city. Also and as something additional in the creative field, it has been the winner of a call for the creation of IDARTES in 2017, with the name of Anfíbraco; Woman, voice and rebellion.
